A strong winter storm was forecast
to slam into the greater Toronto area on Dec 15th but the city
got lucky and the worst of the storm hit in the communities in
eastern Ontario and portions of Quebec. In downtown Toronto, people
we relieved as the y carried out their Christmas shopping or went
skating at Nathan Phillips Square by City Hall.
