Tropical Storm Hanna

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - Sept. 05/06 2008

  • I was already in the U.S. after Hurricane Gustav so it just made sense for me to also go after Tropical Storm Hanna along the east coast. Hanna almost made it up to hurricane strength as it made landfall along the North Carolina/South Carolina state line. It brought with it heavy rain, gusty winds, and a storm surge. Storm drains backed up and gushed with the overflow, large chunks of the beach were eroded away and dangerous rip currents made the water's edge a dangerous place.
