Coober
Pedy, Australia - Jan. 2015
The Town of Coober Pedy is the
opal mining capital of the world. It is also incredibly hot and
dry. The locals use the mining equipment to build "dugout"
homes underground & in hillsides to keep cool. About half
the town is actually underground.
